Biotheia is a life science marketing consultancy run by Teja Sirec.
We’re here to help overcome marketing challenges caused by unclear messaging, whether at a strategic or execution level.
The services include messaging audits, messaging development and messaging implementation, as well as wider support with marketing strategy.
Mission and vision
I’m on a mission to fix the most overlooked growth blocker in life science marketing: unclear, empty messaging. Messaging is a growth driver, one that attracts the right customers.
I believe that commercial leaders shouldn’t rely on guesswork, unstructured opinions, or personal taste. Strategic messaging should be treated like any other critical system: audited, designed, and implemented with current best practices.
This is why I help life science companies visualise gaps with messaging audits, develop clear messaging narratives, and implement them across high-visibility touchpoints — so their expertise translates into visibility and better commercial outcomes.

About Teja Sirec

I work with commercial leaders who feel their legacy marketing messaging is no longer aligned with the current business reality, which is stalling growth and creating friction.
My approach is pragmatic and execution-focused with particular attention to high-visibility customer touchpoints where new messaging makes the most impact.
My professional background spans both sides of the equation: a PhD in Life Sciences, and Chartered Marketer status, plus years of strategic and hands-on experience driving marketing programmes for life science companies.

My life sciences background
I have spent 15 years in the life sciences as a lab scientist (initially) and a marketer (now).
In the commercial environment, I worked in content, strategy and leadership-oriented roles in life science businesses, marketing the products and services to:

Biotech companies
Pharma and Biopharma
Contract organisations (CDMO, CRO, CMO)
I’m experienced in building life science marketing strategies, creating messaging frameworks and turning them into marketing outputs that drive growth.
Most of my customers are analytical instrumentation companies, reagent and consumables suppliers, and service-based businesses (CxOs, or other custom services).
