Biotheia is a life science marketing consultancy run by Teja Sirec.
It provides fractional marketing support to life science companies that don’t have a need to hire a full-time marketing director, but require director-level marketing expertise.
The services include life science marketing strategy, interim execution, mentoring for marketers, and advisory for executives.
The mission and vision
I’m on a mission to change “the old way” of activating a marketing function. Life science companies that want to grow fast and lean need a different approach.
I believe that founders and executives should have access to fractional support so they can activate their marketing when it’s THE RIGHT TIME to do so. And not when their schedule finally permits it.
This is why I’m providing fractional marketing director services, bringing senior strategic and tactical expertise in the business WHEN it’s (most) needed.
And I envision a future where small life science companies won’t need to rely on hope to generate quality leads.

About Teja Sirec, a life sciences marketing consultant
PhD in Life Sciences and Chartered marketerI’m Teja Sirec, the founder of Biotheia and a fractional marketing director.
I’m providing senior marketing expertise to life science and biotech companies that need strategic direction but don’t have the need to employ a marketing director full-time.
My approach is focused on building strong strategic foundations and a pragmatic life science marketing plan, which allows small, growing businesses to build their marketing assets and scale up the marketing activity.
I pay special attention to the marketing channels that life science businesses own: the website, social channels and email.
I also support the planning of conferences and webinars to maximise the exposure and commercial return on virtual and in-person events.

My life sciences background
I have spent 15 years in the life sciences as a lab scientist (initially) and a marketer (now).
In the commercial environment, I worked in content, strategy and leadership-oriented roles in life science businesses, marketing the products and services to:

Pharma and Biopharma
Contract organisations (CDMO, CRO, CMO)
I’m experienced in building life science marketing strategies, marketing teams, marketing capabilities, and driving the execution.
